Good Riddance Day
Out with the Old, in with the New!
December 28, 2011
On December 28 from 12pm-1pm, participants said goodbye to their worst memory from 2011 once and for all on Good Riddance Day!
A Cintas secure, mobile shredding truck along with a dumpster and sledgehammer were on hand to discard any distasteful, embarrassing and downright depressing memories from 2011.
Cintas awarded an iPad2 to Robert Santoriella as the winner for most creative entry. Robert said "Good Riddance" to "Childhood Blood Cancer" and destroyed a "puke bucket that is no longer needed" by his son. The boy has since improved after a bone marrow transplant from his twin brother.
Good Riddance Day is inspired by a Latin American tradition in which New Year’s revelers put artifacts from the previous year into giant dolls and set them on fire.
